Max Brallier is a New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author. His books and series include The Last Kids on Earth, Eerie Elementary, Mister Shivers, Galactic Hot Dogs, and Can YOU Survive the Zombie Apocalypse? Douglas Holgate
Illustrator
Douglas Holgate has been a freelance comic book artist and illustratorbased in Melbourne, Australia, for more than ten years. He’s illustrated books for publishers such as HarperCollins, Penguin Random House, Hachette, and Simon & Schuster, including the Planet Tad series, Cheesie Mack, Case File 13, and Zoo Sleepover.
Douglas has illustrated comics for Image, Dynamite, Abrams, and Penguin Random House. He’s currently working on the self-published series Maralinga, which received grant funding from the Australian Society of Authors and the Victorian Council for the Arts, as well as the all-ages graphic novel Clem Hetherington and the Ironwood Race, published by Scholastic Graphix, both co-created with writer Jen Breach.

Joshua Pruett is an Emmy Award winning writer best known for his work on Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Last Kids on Earth animated series, and the original feature for Disney Plus, Phineas and Ferb: The Movie: Candace Against the Universe. Josh has been a storyboard artist, writer and creative consultant for LEGO, Warner Animation Group, Pure Imagination Studios, Disney TV, DreamWorks Feature Animation, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks TV Sprout/NBC Universal, Netflix, Paramount Feature Animation as well as co-author of Shipwreckers! The Curse of the Cursed Temple of Curses, Or We Nearly Died. A Lot, with Scott Peterson.
Jay Cooper
Illustrator
Jay Cooper’s books don’t normally include grisly murders, nefarious deeds, or corpses of any kind. He has written and/or illustrated more than twenty books for kids, including The Spy Next Door, The Pepper Party, and the Bots series, and has contributed work to the New York Times bestselling series The Last Kids on Earth. Currently he is illustrating a graphic novel entitled Super Atomic Wombat Girl. He’s also a graphic designer of theatrical advertising, and has worked on more than a hundred Broadway musicals and plays (which have heaps of deaths).
